2025's Spring Flower Show has the theme “A Bloom for Every Room” and each room takes a focused look on a different spring flower bloom with impressive colors and beautiful designs!

Where We Regularly Shop for Food in Pittsburgh

Since founding Discover the Burgh, we've been fortunate enough to visit many stores in Pittsburgh and southwest PA. 

We always like to buy something at every place we visit to support local as much as possible, and some businesses we have become big fans of that we are now regular customers (or, at least, as regular as running a site like ours allows).

Co-Sign Speakeasy is a Proper Hidden Bar in Homestead

We are lucky that the speakeasy scene in Pittsburgh has been growing in recent years- not just in the sense of establishments serving Prohibition-style cocktails, but also incorporating some hidden bar elements for a proper aesthetic.

At Co-Sign Speakeasy in the Bank on 8th building in Homestead, you get just that- a proper hidden speakeasy with classics and house creations all the same.

Go for the drinks and stay for the aesthetic and attention to detail at this one, because they really outdid themselves in the design just as much as the space. But, as with most of our articles, we don't want to give too much away, so we're going to focus on the drinks here!

Many Pittsburgh residents dream of living in Mount Washington. This neighborhood is one of the best spots in the city for great views of the skyline, access to tourist experiences like riding on the Inclines, and, of course, great restaurants and amenities.

We were really fortunate to live in Mount Washington as renters for several years and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Although we have since moved to the North Side, we often dream about potentially one day returning.
