Discover the Burgh is one of the most read websites in Pittsburgh, and is all about sharing the best attractions, restaurants, and activities to do in the region for both visitors and locals alike!
Our articles are review-based and follow Jeremy and Angie's personal experiences visiting businesses and attractions in the greater Pittsburgh area, and to date we have featured more than 1,000 unique spots with more added weekly.
What you see is what you get here. We live in the city of Pittsburgh. We do not farm out work to staff two states over. We take our own photos. We are not owned by a media conglomerate, venture capital firm, or have any global sponsors. All articles are written by the two of us alone and feature our honest opinions good, bad, or otherwise.
We are Pittsburghers, writing for Pittsburghers and visitors to Pittsburgh, and we sure do love this great city!
Disclaimers: We do not accept guest posts. We do not sell dofollow links. We do not have a complimentary event listing page. We receive many requests for these but we are unable to accommodate them at this time.
Discover the Burgh Stats at a Glance
In 2020, Discover the Burgh received over 1.6 million page views (with monthly averages between 63,000 and 203,000 page views- low months attributed to the shut down in the spring) and in August 2021 we received 241,000 page views. We have over 130,000 fans on social media, a Facebook group with over 19,500 members, 5,000+ active newsletter subscribers, and generate roughly 500k impressions on social media every month. Since being founded in 2015, our site has received over 8,000,000 page views and counting.
As 75% of our audience is located within driving distance of Pittsburgh (4-hour radius), you can be certain your brand will reach readers who are capable of visiting your business in the immediate future!
