Allegheny City Brewing is one of the premier breweries in Pittsburgh's North Side. Named for the former town of Allegheny City (modern day North Side), this one is a welcoming brewery that is dog friendly (add your dog's photo to their Dog Wall) with immensely drinkable beers, typically seven day a week operation, live music, and a rotating selection of the city's best food trucks most nights.
In 2024, Allegheny City Brewing built an entirely new brewery space right on East Ohio Street that is two floors and stellar all around. Be on the look out for their Single and Double Track series that are IPAs focusing on specific hops as well as one of our favorite lagers in the city- Lite Brite!
