Although Laurel Mountain has ski trails available for all skill levels, it definitely feels like kind of place that is slanted towards intermediate and advance skiers who want no-frills amenities, an inverted mountain (with the lodge on top!), a relaxed vibe, and the steepest slope in Pennsylvania- Lower Wildcat!
Thankfully, you don't have to ride on Lower Wildcat to enjoy a visit to Laurel Mountain, and even beginners can get an appreciation for this one when watching others ride down next to the ski lift.
