Camp culture is big around Pittsburgh, and everyone seemingly knows several people with a camp outside of the city used for long weekends, summer vacations, and more.
But if you do not have access to your own camp, you are not completely out of luck. There are many great cabin rentals near Pittsburgh to help you get a trip out into nature. So in this one, we thought we'd share a few great options to consider for Pennsylvania rental cabins just a short drive from Pittsburgh!

1800s Log Cabin
It's not every day you get to see a rustic log cabin from the 1800s available on Airbnb, but at this gem in Ellwood City, you get just that. This one sleeps up to three with one bedroom, and is on 20 acres with a fishing pond, fire pit, and great views.
Hobbit House Near Farmington
There are cabins, and then there are cabins that will have you transported to the Shire. At The Hobbit House near Farmington, you get just that with a one bedroom that sleeps two, is dog friendly, and even has a hot tub on-site. Certainly one of the more interesting places to enjoy nature near Pittsburgh!
Two Bed Cabin Near Confluence
Looking for a nature stay right on Youghiogheny Lake while also being just a few miles from the Great Allegheny Passage and Ohiopyle State Park? This two bedroom cabin in Confluence sleeps four, is for you- and it even has a hot tub!
Fall Creek Haven in Confluence
Looking for a larger property located right on a creek? Fall Creek Haven has three bedrooms, sleep six, and has a beautiful secluded ambiance that is perfect for a cabin getaway.
Cabin Near Ohiopyle
If you're looking for a cabin near Ohiopyle, Maple Summit Retreat has a lot to love. Sleeps four (one bedroom with two beds), this cabin is located just five minutes from both Ohiopyle and Fallingwater!
