We love a good food truck rally, and, to be honest, don't really need much of an excuse to go out to attend any when they pop up around the city.
Pittsburgh food trucks are, admittedly, pretty delicious, and we'll eat at many of our favorites every chance we can get.
But give those food trucks a theme, and we are all-in. So when the crew behind Beers of the Burgh teamed up with local influencer, Alex Eats Too Much (a great friend of ours), to bring a bacon-themed food truck rally to life, aptly named Baconburgh, you know we were there in its inaugural year.
Now that this one is returning as an annual event, we wanted to share a bit more about what you can expect when attending!

Baconburgh Celebrates All Things Bacon with Local Vendors

At its core, Baconburgh is a fun event that combines local Pittsburgh food trucks with one of our favorite foods- bacon.
Taking place at South Side Works, this free festival features 15+ local food trucks and pop-ups, each with at least one signature dish that includes bacon as a primary ingredient.
The lineup for 2026 is looking especially great with the following food trucks and popups slated to be in attendance: Blue Sparrow, Brisketburgh, Chocolate Moonshine Fudge, Cold Friends Kitchen (their pork belly bites are one of our favorite dishes in the city!), Elfinwild Farms Jerky, Fat Cat Mac Attack, Notorious BLT, Pittsburgh Smokehouse, Rogue BBQ, S&S Chocolates, Sinkers and Suds, Smoked in Pit BBQ, Steel City Chimneys, Street Fries Forever, The Trailer, and Wood Stoke Oven.
A few beverage sponsors will also be in attendance, including Yuengling, Southern Tier Brewing Co., Jack Daniel's, Old Forester, Surfside, and Athletic Brewing Company.
Because what pairs well with bacon? Beer or whiskey, of course!
But, going beyond the food, there is far more to enjoy at Baconburgh, including a vendor market by I Made It! Market, including the likes of Glass Jewelry by Ashley, Grandma Jean's Pennsylvania Kitchen, Sinful Sweets, YinzMart, and over a dozen more artisans, as well as a special appearance by the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile and even a mechanical hog to ride.
Perhaps best of all, starting in its second year, Baconburgh is free to attend. Yes, no entry ticket is required, and all purchases are available a la carte!
So whether you are looking to pop by to feast on an array of delicious bacon dishes, shop with local vendors, or are simply swinging by to grab a quick meal with ample bacon, do not overlook Baconburgh in South Side Works!
