We are looking to share the news of openings and closings in Pittsburgh to keep our readers up-to-date on what is happening in the region.

So whether you represent a company or event, or simply heard some great news (or even rumors!), we'd love to hear about it. If it is a fit, we will feature it in our news series on our site to spread the word! (…and if it is a rumor, we'll chase down the lead to find out what is going on!)

What We're Looking For

As with all things, content on Discover the Burgh focuses all around the best things to see, do, eat, and experience in southwest Pennsylvania (roughly 90 minutes radius of Pittsburgh). As such, at this time we are only looking to feature news about the following, primarily under the theme of openings, closings, or expansions:

Have a lead about a new museum opening? We want to hear about it. A new brewery coming to your neighborhood or an existing brewery's expansion plans? That too. And, yes, we also want to hear about closings as well to keep our readers up-to-date on that end, too!

But there are also things we are not featuring at this time. These include, but are not limited to, the following:

Do you operate a restaurant in the city and are relocating or opening a new location? We want to hear about that. Are you launching a new, seasonal menu or brought on a new chef? While we personally want to hear the update, we will not be featuring that on our news page.
